HANAC Out-of-School Time Program

The Out-of School Time Program is for students between the ages of 5 and 12 and provides structured, alternative activities in a program that offers a productive and safe outlet for the use of free time.

The program goals include: providing a healthy and safe environment; encouraging positive relationships; supporting the needs of working families, healthy behaviors, the exploration of interest, the development of skills and creativity, and, leadership development; strengthening academic skills; as well as promoting community engagement and respect for diversity.

The program is funded by the New York City Department of Youth and Community Development and serves over 200 student annually.
